Product description

Photoinitiator RT-POL CAS :84434-11-7 is a liquid photoinitiator, mainly used in yellowing resistant systems, with excellent yellowing resistance, low migration and low odor properties. Especially suitable for UV curing of white system and thick film layer, curing speed is very fast, suitable for low yellowing, low odor formula system. Used to initiate UV polymerization of unsaturated hydrocarbons and prepolymers.

Product application

An efficient liquid universal UV initiator, which can be used in printing inks and adhesives on wood, plastic, metal, paper and optical fiber surfaces. It shows good solubility in some common UV formulations (such as acrylates, unsaturated polyester systems), and can be used alone or in combination with other photoinitiators, such as alpha-hydroxyketones.

Suggested formula

Liquid UV initiator for unsaturated polyester of styrene. Due to its low volatility, RT-POL is suitable for the production of low-odor formulations. By adding RT-POL at a ratio of 0.3-5%, the polymerizable part of the product can be applied to paints and printing inks. Absorption wavelength (nm) : 299  366 (in methanol solution)
